This is to honor people for making important contributions to the understanding of the harmful effects of mobile phones and for making the hazards known to the general public.

Dr George Carlo

Dr Carlo is a great hero in this field. He was trusted by the mobile phone industry to be the most competent scientist to correctly assess the safety of mobile phones.

In spite of receiving considerable sums in sponsorship for his work he had the integrity, courage and great sense of responsibility to communicate his conclusion that mobile phones are harmful. Below one of his public statements:

"...with medical science indicating increased risks of tumors, cancer, genetic damage and other health problems from the use of cellphones, the government and the cellphone industry have abandoned the public."

In spite of strong opposition, threats, physical attacks, defamation attempts, harrassments and other difficulties he has persisted in warning about the hasards.

Conducted pioneering research proving that cellphone radiation damages DNA. Such damage is assoiated with increased Cancer risk.

Professor Leif G Salford

Discovered blood-brain-barrier disruption, a very important and problematic complication of cellphone usage. This vital protection barrier for the brain ceases to function within a couple of minutes of cellphone irradiation. There are reasons to suspect that this may bring about serious consequences as the same kind of leakage has been found a/o in Alzheimers diseas and Parkinsons disease.

Hall of Shame

We have felt tempted to also create a "Hall of Shame" to list the people who clearly have been neglecting or downtrodding the truth for the sake of egoistic and seriously irresponsible greed. But because it would take a huge work to make a fair representation that would not omit any "deserving" and because we want to focus on the positive, we have decided to resist this temptation. But if you want to make an own list we can give you a simple guideline:

Any scientist who has made any of the following statements has qualified himself for a place in the unfortunately large crowd in a "Hall of Shame" because solid evidence has proven that they are outright lies:

Mobile phone / cellphone and cordless phone radiation is not harmful,
Only thermal effects (heating of brain tissue) of mobile phones have been proven.
The present official safety norms for mobile phone radiations ensure safe usage of mobile phones (these norms have been set so as to prevent thermal effects of mobile phone radiation).
Mobile phones don't cause an increased risk for brain tumors and other forms of cancer,
Mobile phones cannot cause behavioral disturbances, tiredness, concentration difficulties, depressions and sleep difficulties,

Unfortunately we can safely predict that it will be easy for you to nominate well qualified candidates for the Hall of Shame in reading almost any newspaper article discussing mobile phone safety. If you are in doubt, read "Corrupt Science" and you will be amazed.
